Q: What makes the Knutzz kit different from other e-bike lights? A: It's the only dual beam LED lightbar kit that includes a front number plate, engineered specifically for Macfox e-bikes. That means the connectors, mounts, and controls are already built around your exact model — no guesswork, no messy wiring, no bolted-on look. Just a clean, factory-integrated upgrade.
Q: Which bikes does the Knutzz kit fit? A: We make model-specific plug-and-play kits for the Macfox X1S, X2, X7, X7L, and M16. We also offer a universal kit that works on any bike with a triple tree fork and an existing front light — some basic wiring is involved for that one.
Q: Does the front number plate come included? A: Yes. Every kit ships with the color-matched front number plate. No need to buy it separately.
Q: What colors can I choose from for the PRO kit mounts? A: Our PRO kit strut mounts are 3D printed in-house with nearly unlimited color options. If you can imagine it, we can probably print it.
Q: How does the color-changing light work? A: The light switches between amber and white. On Macfox bikes, it's controlled right from your stock handlebar switch — no extra hardware needed. For other bikes using our universal kit, we include a wired switch to handle it.
Q: What powers the light? A: Your e-bike's existing battery. No separate power source, no extra cables running everywhere.
Q: Will you be adding more plug-and-play kits for other bikes? A: Actively working on it. We're developing plug-and-play kits for more popular e-bike models — specifically bikes with triple tree mounting forks. Stay tuned.
Installation
Q: How hard is this to install? A: Not hard at all. Most riders have it done in under 15 minutes. If you can follow basic instructions, you can do this — no special tools, no electrical experience required.
Q: What does "plug-and-play" actually mean? A: It means you plug the Knutzz lightbar directly into your bike's existing wiring harness and it works. No cutting, no splicing, no wiring diagrams. Plug in and ride.
Q: Does the universal kit require any wiring? A: Yes. Because the universal kit fits a wide range of bikes, some basic wiring is involved. It's still straightforward, but it's not as hands-off as the model-specific kits.
Shipping & Returns
Q: How fast will I get my order? A: We ship all orders within 2 business days. US delivery takes 2–5 days from there, so most customers have it in hand within a week.
Q: Can I return my kit if I change my mind? A: Yes. If the product is unused and you're within 30 days of purchase, we'll take it back. No hassle.
Q: Is there a warranty? A: The light carries a 2-year warranty against defects. The only exception is physical damage — accidental damage isn't covered. For everything else, we've got you.
