Will this fit my e-bike?
Pick your bike in the selector at the top and we'll ship the matching connector and mount. Every bike on that list has been tested on an actual bike, not matched from a spec sheet. If yours isn't listed, don't go by the plug shape. Two connectors can look identical and be wired differently underneath. Text us a photo of your headlight plug and we'll confirm before you order.
What if my bike isn't listed?
Ask us before you order. Send a photo of your headlight plug and we'll tell you in a few hours whether we have a match. We only list bikes we've physically tested, so an unlisted bike isn't a no, it just isn't confirmed yet. The Universal Kit is also an option, because it brings its own harness and switch.
Is it street legal?
Check your own state, because the rules vary. The short version: US states require a white front light at night, and the white beam covers that. Amber doesn't count as your headlamp anywhere in the US, so treat it as your dust and trail beam, not your road default.
Will it drain my battery?
Not in a way you'll feel. The light pulls 23W or 28W. Your motor pulls several hundred. An hour of riding with the light on costs you less range than one decent hill.
Can I ride in the rain?
YES, the lights are waterproof. You can ride them in the rain.
Is this a Baja Designs?
No, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. Baja Designs builds for trucks, and they price for trucks. We build this style of light for e-bikes, with a mount cut to your frame and a plug that matches your harness. That part they don't do.
Why is it cheaper than the ones I've seen?
Because it's built for a 28mph e-bike, not a race truck. You're not paying for a housing designed to survive Baja. You're paying for the right mount, the right plug and two beams that work on a bike.
What's the difference between the 5-bulb and 6-bulb versions?
The 6 bulb is the bigger light. It draws 28W against 23W for the 5 bulb. Both run the same two beams. Which one you get depends on your bike, so pick your model above and we'll show you which it takes.
The mount is 3D printed. Will it hold on rough ground?
It's carbon fiber, and it's printed to the shape of your frame instead of clamped on as a one size fits all. That's exactly why it doesn't work loose. A universal clamp has to grip a shape it was never made for. This one already is that shape.
How does the dual beam work?
White is your road beam. Amber is your low beam for dust, fog and tight trail, where white bounces straight back at you. You switch between them with the light switch already on your bar, so there's no second button to fit.
How difficult is installation?
About ten minutes with one tool, and the tool is in the box. Unplug your stock light, bolt on the mount, plug ours in. Nothing gets cut and nothing gets spliced. There's a step-by-step video for your bike if you want to watch it first.
Does fitting this void my bike's warranty?
Nothing gets cut and nothing gets spliced. It plugs into the same connector your stock light already uses, and your stock light goes back on in a few minutes if you ever need it to.
Can I move it to another bike later?
The light and the harness move. The mount doesn't, because it's cut for one frame. A second mount is the cheap part if you're running two bikes. If you don't know what you'll be riding, the Universal Kit isn't tied to one frame at all.
What is the shipping policy?
We ship within 1 to 2 business days. Delivery in the continental US takes another 2 to 5 days, so most orders land within a week of ordering. Shipping is free in the continental US. International delivery times vary by destination.
What is the return policy?
30 days. If it doesn't fit your bike, we cover the return shipping and there's no restocking fee.
